welcome to our community in the heart of Surrey!

Defibrillators for Shalford and Peasmarsh

The Friends of Shalford are very pleased to announce our application for help in funding from the British Heart Foundation (BHF) has been successful.

BHF have agreed to contribute funds towards the two defibrillators and have also supplied training equipment for the important CPR training for the villages to support the Defibrillators.

But we need to fundraise before we can install these life saving defibrillators, and money is also needed for the two heated cabinets and installation etc, a total of £2,500. If you have ideas, projects or would like to join our Fundraising Team, please contact:

We plan to start CPR First Aid Training for the villages early next year, with help from our local expert and First Responder. If you would like to learn these important, life saving skills, for free, then more information will be posted around the Villages and on the Shalford Village Website in the new year, www.shalfordvillage.co.uk

You may have seen Chilworth have installed a defibrillator outside the Village Hall, Albury and Shere have both installed accessible defibrillators. Blackheath Village is about to install two defibrillators, to go on their Village Hall and a second one on the Cricket Pavilion.

Friends of Shalford are all volunteers, living locally with the aim of bringing the community together and to make it an even better place to live. We hope you are pleased to hear about this latest project and look forward to your support.
